A Missing Perspective on the Clinton Affair Allegations: A Human Resource Lesson for All Businesses

biz.yahoo.com

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The following statement was released today by Stu Anmuth, Principal, HResults:

''What we're forgetting here is that Monica Lewinsky worked for Clinton. In this instance, the President of the United States is no different than the CEO of a company -- this is an alleged personal, sexual employer-employee relationship and there are serious Human Resource implications. Employers should not be blind-sided. A clear and well-communicated policy about proper executive conduct is critical, as well as a plan to handle these kinds of situations should they arise. Without a plan, you can lose control and become vulnerable to outside constituencies, whether the media, the employee, or others. There's a serious lesson here for businesses. This kind of stuff happens more than you might think.''

Stu Anmuth is an expert on Employee Relations with more than 20 years of experience counseling Fortune 500 companies in Human Resources issues. HResults is a Philadelphia-based Human Resources consulting firm that specializes in customized solutions for enhanced Human Resources effectiveness.

Clinton is the chief law enforcement officer in this country. If he has committed a crime or has urged someone else to do so, he should serve time.

If he just "shagged" her, then he should just be laughed out of office, like the fool that he is.

>>Maybe there's an alternative to resigning. He could "temporarily" delegate his power and responsibility to the VP while he defends himself.

I don't think Hillary would delegate her power. They'll have to drag her out kicking and screaming.
