Glocks are excellent guns, but not as trouble free in all conditions as a .357 Smith & Wesson. That is why Patton carried one and called it his "killing gun" It is also why many police depts all over the nation issue them to some of their officers. They are reliable and will not fail you if you are stuck in mud, water or other adverse conditions. They are kind of like the AK of sidearms. You can count on them and they have knockdown and kill power.
