David, From the looks of things during the Gulf War, women didn't wait to be drafted. Also, many, MANY women served in the military during the Vietnam War and World War II as well as previous wars.

Fine. Only fair. Good thing, too. My understanding is that nowadays, the women who enlist are WAY smarter and more motivated than the guys.
