WRT touching the face, isn't it specifically about touching the mouth, nose or ears, i.e., the openings of the face? I mean, the cheek or chin for example are not points of entry, correct?

It seems they say don't touch the face as a way of making doubly sure the vulnerable areas remain safe. But, still, it could be confusing to many hearers if they infer the entire facial surface is vulnerable by the way the advisory is always put.
