Capitalism implies an arms-length transaction. A short squeeze is not an arms length transaction. Essentially, in a short squeeze, one or more persons buy up the float, forcing the shorts to pay the price set by the cartel. The price set is artificial: it in no way depends on the true value of the goods being sold. This is "extortion," which is the obtainment of money from another by coercion, which means to compel an action by pressure or threat. A short squeeze compels the purchase of stock through pressure on the shorts. I did not mean to imply that a true short squeeze is illegal, and I am sorry if you understood my post to imply such..

P.S. Please do not label me. Labels are for belittlement, and add nothing to serious discussion and debate.

JK: This is getting funnier, really.
I don't know if you remember way back in Sept or Oct. The discussion revolved around the idea of a short squeeze. I think it was Mork,(or maybe mawok) who was posting, about how immoral, unfair etc etc. the short squeeze was. We all went round and round, and heard the same arguments, as we are hearing now.
Now, this issue suddenly appears again.
I am not saying Mr. Dendro is not who he says he is, I am just kind of amused, that this argument is being brought up again.
Anyone who buys into the notion that they don't have the moral right to make money from a short squeeze is a fool.
Keep up the good work, they cannot win on this issue no matter WHAT they say. al
