I believe you can also just let them sit out and the virus dies after a few days. Put them on a plastic box next to the window and you get some UV penetration plus the heating
If any of you would like to reuse face masks, put them in your toaster oven for 30 minutes at 160-170 deg F (70C). This does not harm the rubber bands or plastic breathing piece on my 3M N95s (old stock from 2003 SARS outbreak). 30 minutes UV (bright sun) also works.
While chatting last night with my young MD friends who are sisters, I came up with this contraption. It works while wearing glasses too. Held in place with a small bungee.
