I'm sorry and don't mean to offend, but Concord isn't anything like the Silicon Valley.

We have boatloads of problems and all the parasites great wealth attracts, but people like Zuckerberg don't move their companies to here for the food or beaches. They come to poach from the other companies and get recent graduates from the two of the top 10 schools in the World.

Also, we get the top minds of other countries who come here legally to start new companies. One of my best friends came from IIT (India's MIT) to Texas for grad school and worked his way to the Silicon Valley. He started and sold two companies since then but now works for a big one in a "more relaxed" role.

Musk, the Intel founders, many, many others came from oppressive countries and settled here to get recent graduates from Stanford and UC Berkeley (I went to both then recruited for HP for 10 years at UC as a side gig to doing R&D) who like to work and live nearby so we could take more classes, etc. while working.
