Incompetence is what our society demands You cannot "fire" anybody today. 1) They need a warning and the documentation. Can take how long? Management already is overworked. No action taken. 2) Another warning and document. HR investigates. Subject of dismissal blames whomever and threatens to sue. No action taken 3)Another incident HR moves problem to another department. Oh this is life and death at a hospital. If people would take care of and responsibility for their own health others incompetence would be a very small problem.

The situation enveloping the world and not just the USA, has been, for lack of more choice words, “unusual“. All caught off guard, and some thought it was the other guy’s problem, others tried to make a run, many figured it is not a problem, enough did their best to hype, still others ran into the envelopment, and lots just froze still. Now we find ourselves where we are, nowhere, no way to get back, and no map to guide forward, in trouble, under distress, light on protection, heavy on obligations, and not a clue. Am cautiously long, albeit some distance from the front line. Message 32653852 Message 32654429 Message 32655247 THEY must save the system, even if all pauperised, so as to secure the future. Be damned the tax-serfs who must go back to work or the leisure class down-shift life style. THEY are feeding us into the flame, fueling the infernal, and not bother to evacuate us on to safe ground. WE are expendable. This episode is great for the kids, for they get a fresh start, early. Interestingly, on this SI thread at the very least we hopefully try helping each other make it across.
