I don't believe in luck. Everything that takes place in our lives is divinely ordained. That doesn't mean we should just sit back and let things run their course. We have free will and must live our lives as if our decisions and volitions make a difference. I was raised agnostic, but told my parents at a very young age that I wanted a kosher home. They flipped out on me in response and wondered who brainwashed me. I told them it came from me and from over and beyond me.
