At some point in time, wouldn't you expect the sound to become integrated into the motherboard? Will the Ensoniq chip enable this?

I'm tired of counting ISA and PCI slots to determine whether I have room for the next device. Worse yet, have you inventoried your IRQs, DMAs, and I/O addresses lately? Sound cards are the biggest resource hogs you can put into your system and one of the more complicated configurations. Sound on the motherboard might simplify all this.
