As a result of the lockdown and the fact that millions of people have been fired or laid off from their jobs, the hardship is beyond acute. People have run out of money to feed themselves and they are not receiving unemployment checks. They can not even get the unemployment offices on the phone. I am receiving dire reports from people all over the country. Those of us who have money are sheltered from these facts. There are food lines at the food banks in Florida that stretch for miles. This is the dirty little secret that the press is NOT showing. The way all of this has been handled by our politicians is a travesty and their models are nonsense. Our own govt has just cut back on its predictions by as much as 90%. California is a good example of just how off the predictions have been, imo.
