Hi Bob

There are a lot of good things to be said about Texas.

We looked at the Austin area, as we know folks there but I think Texas just gets a little too warm for some who has lived 41 years in the Bay Area where we have natures built in AC, the Pacific ocean.

We have little mini Mtns that are just 5 to 10 miles from my house. I'm now 69 but I ride or walk most days. When I ride I get to beautiful countryside roads in just a half hour of riding.

I grew up in northern MN and lived 4 years in Madison mid 70's, so I know the country you spend your summers in.

Bob I think you would make a good salesman if you put your mind to it.......(g)

Thanks as always for the offer. Some of the houses on the lake look like the COULD be large enough for two independent souls with our own homes to share... maybe. -grin-

My weather software has no wind meter there but it would be interesting to know how often the guy wind foils on that lake. It needs about 10 MPH I'm told and there is a site nearby, Spring CW9770 off Rayford Rd, that looks to have decent wind over 10 MPH 75% of the time. With all the buildings, it has to be spotty and gusty, but that can make it fun on a foil I think.

Also, I could could get one of those new fangled electric foil surfboards to ride around on flat days. They give a great core workout I'm told.

Of course this all assumes you follow me around with a fan blowing cool air off a bucket of ice on me while I sweat on the water.
