Am getting reports of blown up startup growth-stage companies (as opposed to developmental stage enterprises at some advantage given lower burn rate, and no need for customers), and of restaurants irrespective of their (venue / menu) merit.

The hurt is definite, real, and substantial, and recovery must take awhile. The efforts presumably would be taken up again soonest after viral issue passes. Should the virus go perennial then we would be in a different arena altogether.

Deflation of costs, revenues, and impetus, and dilution of money are baked-in, matter of course, and unforgiving.

Nothing priced in, for everything happened faster than folks can even begin to formulate forwards plans, especially as they / we haven’t even figured out whether the financial market would have tanked without a push by the virus.
