Dauntless & all, I broke down and spent the $4.95 at micropat.com I now have all 38 pages of the World Patent Application. What a deal! As I said before and you have been kind enough to point out is that it is important to understand important details, like HOW something is measured. I have not gotten the J. Chromatography references yet. What I do know is that I think it's OK to submit your own data for a patent application (Since most stuff hasn't been invented yet.) Keith's numbers are correct(I told you I wouldn't doubt you :-)). Data on what dosages were administered were in the Patent application. He still hasn't responded on the 1.5 hour deal yet. Skinny on the patent numbers. Blood levels previously reported. Shorter times were measured with 7.5 minutes(at 40 mgs) being the earliest time point in which Phentolamine was detected for tests of 20, 40, and 60 mgs. 8 patients given two pills. Data: 3 of 8 up with Vasomax. 0 of 8 with placebo. Regarding the patent application, of interest, and I would be curious to find out is just how protected their patent claims are. For instance it is one thing to claim that you have a rapidly dissolving tablet that you swallow whole and it dissolves, and quite another to CHEW a CHEWABLE phentolamine tablet, and quite another to get 40 mgs of Phentolamine and put it in your mouth with a glass of water. (Taste could be really nasty etc. :-p) Point, rapidly dissolving is an extremely subjective issue IMO. Leaves a good deal of room for someone to come in and say this invention is really obvious.(Although nobody discovered it in 45 years!) Does anyone have info on someone receiving, marketing, and protecting a patent like this? Rob

One more thing, When I said Keith's numbers were correct, I should have been more clear. My interpretation of what has been posted is that 0 means less than 5 ng/ml. This is important IMO because at of the 1.5 hour claim that phentolamine produced erections when the mean blood concentration was 2.8 ng/ml at 2 hours.
