I'm becoming visibly sick at the sheer incompetence of our response. As far as testing goes, Calculated Risk thinks we need to be doing somewhere between 300K and 800K/day. Not counting California's golden spike, we're doing 140K.

The answer is simple--the mortality rate is so high because of one reason. For example--I live in Texas--nearly 20% of those living in this state have no insurance. We are the outlier for the rest of the world, and there are those who bad mouth the Canadians about their healthcare system--why?

Look at the list of the "top 10" states with the number of those who have died---what should jump out in looking at these numbers -Georgia and Louisiana and Florida.
