Is it me? Or is everyone glossing over this patent deal?

It seems like this agreement will save S3 a lot of headache, money, and time.

Plus, I'm curious to know how much revenue is generated from the royalities? Anyone know?

Don't forget... instead of paying the $50million + fees for the lawsuit and getting nothing. We pay $40 million and obtain these patents. Of course, so far exactly what each company got is vague. But, it looks a lot better then the initial scenario.

What about the suit against Intel? You think S3 will get any of the pie? Could Cirrus be that stupid?

Could someone post the notes from the Conference call?

Thanks..

John Nasser

Jerry, I'll take a gold bet. As long as Clinton keeps his zipper down gold will do well. Not to mention the dollar, Iraq, Asian crisis, etc. I'll stick with TVX Gold at 3 for the next quarter which will outperform S3. Other picks: CPSS, HMTT, AZR.
