Did it ever dawn on you that maybe many of the stories you read that have numbers in them have simply fabricated the numbers, or are reporting fabricated numbers?

There are secret societies wherein numerology is an important part of communications. Any young man who has ever been initiated into a fraternity should have discovered this.

This goes all the way back to the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the Knights Templar, and beyond. For example, there is an entire sect of Jewish Mysticism called Kabbalah that is based to some extent on numerology. It goes all the way to at least the 5th century, BCE. The singer, Madonna is said to be a follower of Kabbalah.

For fun, for example, just see how many stories use the number 33 (an important number in Freemasonry) in early versions of reports on supposedly tragic events. Mine explosions, natural events such as hurricanes and tornadoes, etc. It might surprise you. What it all means, I do not know and really do not care since I personally place no importance on numerology, but others do and this is likely why you see it.

Another exercise if you want to amuse yourself is to use a Pythagorian or Chaldean numerology calculator and place the new or stage names of celebrities (like singers, movie stars, etc)--not their real names, but their stage names. and let it generate a value for you. You would be shocked to find that many of them add up to the total 33. This is by design because the people who run that industry are often numerology believers who operate under the premise that this is important.

There is an entire realm out there that is kind of hidden from the view of the average guy. It is in plain sight, but most people would never bother to take the time to try to see it.
