Jane Mayer is a left wing political hack. She helped pen "Strange Justice" about Clarence Thomas in which Anita Hill was the victim. The book was poorly researched and ripped apart by critics. She also wrote a scathing review of FBI agent Gary Aldrich's account of Clinton transgressions, I think called , "Inside the White House". The New Yorker would not print Aldrich's response, apparently because it nailed Mayer. Aldrich is being vindicated and Mayer can't abide that. Needless to say, don't believe much, if any, of what Mayer says. Regards
