I have often wondered about how things trade. I have watched the tape for

a long time thinking of models for this somewhat social phenomenon. But always the missing details confound understanding (and these details include things like rules and cheating).

It is easier to look at small floats than the large floats.

I am almost convinced that the group on the bid is almost always the group on the ask. And a stock cannot move up until they finally decide (for whatever the reason) to start to lay off the ask.

The seemingly unlimited supply on the ask when you know that all supply has to somehow be limited has always baffled me. But then many things baffle me. )
