Nobody is giving it willy-nilly. In the US, it is prescribed by doctors, who take care to give it under the right circumstances and dose it properly. In many other countries, it is sold over the counter. But proper dosing is essential.
Yeah, I get that.

I should probably revise what I said earlier, though. When I said I wouldn't consider HCQ, I wouldn't just take it without proper supervision by a doctor.

Even then, if I were given the option, I might decline and take my chances with a 98% survival rate, were I to contract COVID-19.
But I do believe what my daughter tells me, as she is treating covid patients with it and other drugs in a NYC public hospital.
What is she observing with regard to HCQ's effectiveness?

Could you please mention an example, where, in what country the HCQ drug is sold over the counter?
