Where I live here in California, there have been very few infections. Less than we get from a winter flu. Our population here is over 13 million and we have only had a little over 9000 infections. My wife had a business in West LA and I probably saw more cases of the flu each year walk through her door in Feb-March than the Covid-19 numbers they claim we have had. And everyone is over counting. . In addition, LA is not a clean city. It is filthy here.

There are also many immigrants here and they do not have the same cultural practices as most Americans. Many of them are very touchy-feely.

And very little social distancing is being practiced. People bump into each other in the aisles of the markets and drug stores. The lines in which they wait have looked like people in line for rides at Disneyland. . Until just recently, they were on top of each other. Our death rate here has not been high at all and it has very little to do with any program Newsom came up with.

If he keeps this state closed down much longer it is going to look like a Mad Max movie around Cali. There are likely to be many bankruptcies as it is.
