Re: HA-API I noticed several names conspicuously absent from the list of HA-API campers. You might have heard of them - Identix, Identicator, Printrak and DBII. It appears that to become a member of the HA-API family you have to be an "up and coming" outsider with little or no biometric sales. You get a front row seat if you are already working with NRiD. Do you see a pattern forming here? The guys selling alternative methods to the current status quo (fingerprint ID) are happy for HA-API because they perceive it as giving them a helping hand to compete with the established fingerprint ID companies currently leading the market. If you write the best software in the world, but it doesn't work with the largest established base of hardware in existence, is the software of any use? Just ask the programmers writing software for Apple.
