J. Saf, The fact remains that NRI software can already work with at least, some of IDX hardware. NRI can write non-HA-API software, However, Non HA-API hardware, may not be able to work in certain applications in the future without reworking. When you look at some of the players, they are giants compared to the companies you mention including IDX. If they get serious about biometrics, watch out. The question is whether companies like NEC and Morpho, decide to go along in the future. If they do IDX will have to . But, the real goal of NRI is to create new markets. This is excellent for that. Meanwhile, IDX is having its own problems, It is not NRI's fault, it is not necessary to belittle every positive move NRI makes in order to take your mind off that company's current stock performance.
