A nice post from David,

exchange2000.com

By the way, IDX got news of a $3M settlement on a law suit. They are trying to laugh it off, but that comes out to $.13 a share. They say that they have insurance for $2M, but that still leaves $.043 a share. That is double last quarters EPS. What could Randy have been doing that was so bad???

Sheldon

Everyone should take a deep breath here. Let's talk HA-API. DOD paid NRiD to develop HA-API. It is generic and free for anyone to use. You don't actually use it, you just write your software to match up to it. NRiD doesn't make any money just because someone says they will make their hardware/software HA-API compliant. Everyone who has biometric product you would think has software for it that they developed themselves, IF they are a PLAYER. They will write their software to be HA-API compliant so it will be happy to work with other HA-API biometric applications. IF someone wants to use two or more kinds of biometrics I would think they would want it to all work together, and be HA-API/happy. This would be very easily done. I would seriously doubt that at this time there are very many dual applications in use, although we may see more in the future.
