We are in the middle of a serious economic crises in Asia and contemplating a potentially serious military confrontation with Iraq, and you'd like to think that the US represented some measure of stability, competence, and maybe even leadership at a time like this. Instead, we are in the midst of a pathetic and surreal domestic crises that will probably culminate in the downfall of the President. Why? Because Bill Clinton wanted to get some head. This thing is going to move very fast. We are not very far from the moment when both sides of the isle are going to pitch Bill over the side so that the nation can get on with business. I hope Al Gore is ready.
