Exactly. So the better path for us would have been to learn from Taiwan and do what we could to mimic it here. We should never have implemented Totalitarian destruction of our economy just because it was expedient. What Taiwan did was smart, hard, and nuanced. What we did was stupid, ham fisted, and peanut buttered. And it has cost 22 million people their livelihoods. It's criminal what has been done to those people.
