I have medical professionals in my family Doctors, nurses, etc. My sister, for example, was a critical care nurse for 30 years. I always refer to the profession as "professional guessers" as are most professions. Including the ones in which I have worked.

A lot of people have the false assumption that medicine is an absolute science. It's not, and never has been.
