Sun makes DARWIN even better....Sun's Darwin To Run Faster Windows Apps (02/01/98; 12:28 p.m. EST)
(http://www.techweb.com/wire/story/TWB19980201S0003)
From the article:"...Sun Microsystems plans this summer to come out with a PCI-card add-on to its new line of Darwin workstations that is designed to allow them to run Windows applications at least as fast as most new Wintel PCs."

"...If the cards were available today, they'd run Windows applications as fast as a 300 MHz Pentium II..."

"...The card will use a PC clone chip, possibly from Advanced Micro Devices or the Cyrix subsidiary of National Semiconductor, Okin said..."
======================================================================
As long as the add-on card is priced right, it should be a winner. Darwin now should be able to run both Windows and Solaris OS with Unix reliability.
