Kimberly, You are in MS near Memphis right? I noticed that Shelby County, which is of course where Memphis is located only has 34 deaths attributed to Covid-19. Since we know the CDC has advised that deaths be counted as Covid deaths even when it is only assumed that Covid was the culprit (no testing was necessary to arrive at this conclusion), it doesn't seem as though there has been much of an accelerated problem in your area.

Shelby County had a population of close to 1 million people as of 2010 and I'm sure that number has grown a bit since.

Is Northern MS in worse shape than Shelby County? I see Marshall County 2 deaths. DeSoto County 3 deaths. Tate county, 0 deaths Tunica County, 1 death. It seems sparse.

I think people in the Bay Area will mostly continue to social distance as many did well before it was mandated. I red an oped today from a guy who normally comments on pensions and their problem accounting. He is 65 and has 15 yrs recovery from cancer but he wrote his MD suggests being very careful due to his weakened immune system, so he's going to continue to order food and supplies online from home delivery until there is a vaccine. Of course he can work from home so he's luckier than many.

There are always going to be the problem people but I think most will do as suggested. It worked and we're not, as a whole, stupid people.
And did you see what my baby Tucker did last night?? There is nothing like that feeling of pride when you realize your kids really were paying attention when you tried to teach them how to behave!

Sorry, but I don't know who baby Tucker is...

Nancy Pelosi copes with the quarantine by eating expensive ice cream and candy stored in her $24,000 refrigerator located in her multi-million dollar home.

If Nancy can cope, then anyone should be able to do it just as well.
