You may have told them that. UV light can usually destroy almost any virus and much harmful bacteria). I believe Tesla (the man, not the car, lol) proved that many eons ago. Which is another reason I have wondered why some of the blue state governors have discouraged people from leaving their homes even for exercise on the streets. (Newsom, however encouraged outdoor exercise. he gets kudos for that)

Food Bank lines over one mile long in Miami. (From TMZ, no less)

MIAMI BEACH FOOD BANKS MILE-LONG LINE OF CARS WAITING

tmz.com

Check out this surreal scene down in Miami Beach, where a MILE-long line of cars were arranged in a giant U-curve in between the W Hotel and Setai Hotel -- two of MB's most high-end go-to spots for celebrity out-of-towners ... like Kim K, Justin Bieber and more.

Still, whether they were trying to send a message or not ... the juxtaposition of desperate, poor families flocking to a food bank right next to a rich-person pit stop in the Sunshine State, should've been looked at a bit more. It's kinda bad optics ... but so be it.

New topic. This looks like a great solution to subdue drugged up perps without shooting & killing them. Safer than a Taser as well.

didn't I tell someone to put N95 masks out in the sun to kill the virus between uses?

Yes you did. I also found more detailed info on page 21 of this lengthy article (pdf):

Alternate use among several masks.
After using one, put it in its own bag to let
virus decay for several days. This is best
if you aren’t sharing your mask with
anybody else to avoid unsavory bacteria.

• For rapid decontamination: place in oven
at 70oC = 160oF for 30-60min, or put in a
steamer (not in boiling water, but the
steam above it) for 10min, or expose both
sides in a UV sterilizer (40W 2ft away).
Mask efficacy is unaffected by these
treatments (right). Alcohol and bleach are
not recommended as they affect the
electrostatic membrane that assists with
virus filtration (right).

3/20 update: To protect against objections of
rule-lovers, I’ll point out that UV sterilization
and reuse of masks is now being done by
hospitals (nyti.ms/3b8C1HQ).

More recently I saw somewhere that covid requires much higher temperatures (90C) than recommended above. I've been leaving my mask in direct sunlight for about 1 hour, both outside and inside surfaces.
