Good point regarding revenues. Profit is important.

Some years ago as I was going over my corporate returns with my accountant, I mentioned that I wish my profit was higher for the year.
He quickly pointed out that I had made more than IBM for the year with considerable less effort, risk, capital... (IBM lost $ that year)

The point was well taken, I made more money than IBM even though they are a much bigger company and have a global market. Profit is the key, not revenues. Revenues can reflect opportunity for greater profitability in the future, though.
