Follow the money. Here in Nairobi it is now required to take a Covid test before one flies out of the country.

The commissioned laboratory to perform the tests is: Lancet Labs that operates East Africawide.

You can clear see that the lab owners cut a deal with the Kenyan health authorities to cash in on Covid and government put in place the policy..

Last week Kenyan Airways flew expats back to London but could not bring Kenyans stranded in the UK. Why? Because the Kenyan government now requires people to travel to Kenya to be tested for Covid.

Fine, you would say.

But the UK does not test people willy nilly, The Brits only test for Covid people who are showing symptoms.
Thus no test. No flying back to Kenya.

The WHO, obviously, is looking to have their cronies make money with these schemes.

If we know how those things work, in 5 years time people will still be paying for tests just for the sake of the business of Lancet Labs.

You need to know how the world works. The world is not California. Trust me. California is the fantasyland amigo

Bankrupt Venezuelan Oil Firm PDVSA Proposes Selling Oil Assets To Private Sector

In a total about-face on the “socialism” and “communism” and the Yankee-Go-Home attitude of the ruling Socialists United of Venezuela (PSUV), the country’s beleaguered and bankrupt oil firm PdVSA has apparently thrown in the towel. They think it’s a good idea that the closed economy starts selling some of its oil assets in order to get the oil economy moving again.

“This (pandemic) is showing what bulls--t most AI hype is. It’s great and it will be useful one day but it’s not surprising in a pandemic that we fall back on tried and tested techniques.”

A.I. can’t solve this: The coronavirus could be highlighting just how overhyped the industry is

KEY POINTS

Big AI firms like DeepMind, OpenAI and Facebook AI have remained relatively quiet throughout the crisis. AI has huge potential, but right now scientists are turning to tried and tested technologies instead. Of course, there are a few useful AI projects happening here and there.

ELMAT: Governments are overplaying their hands.

Once this Covid-19 thing passes, many politicians carrers will be over,

Hundreds of protesters, some armed, gathered inside Michigan’s state capitol on Thursday as state lawmakers debated the Democratic governor’s request to extend her emergency powers to combat coronavirus.

A tightly packed crowd of protesters, some carrying rifles, attempted to enter the floor of the legislative chamber, and were held back by a line of state police and capitol staff, according to video footage posted by local journalists.

“Let us in! Let us in!” the protesters chanted, as they stood shoulder-to-shoulder inside the statehouse. Few of them were wearing face masks.

Some of the protesters shouted anti-government slogans, including comparing the state’s Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer, to Hitler.

One Democratic state lawmaker posted a photograph of men with rifles standing in a gallery yelling down at lawmakers below. “Some of my colleagues who own bullet proof vests are wearing them,” the state senator Dayna Polehanki wrote on Twitter.
