I saw the text.... "maybe."

Any idea when they will have proper scientific studies completed with any of these promising regimes?

The press, hell bent on presenting one political side of the other, seems to leave off most reporting that many of these studies only look at one area of use. For example, giving a Hydroxycholoquine to patients late in the disease cycle isn't nearly as helpful as giving it to them early.

We've seen Remdesivir work so well at helping patients before they are on ventilators that they stopped the study early to give the drug to those given placebos. A study out a week or so before said Remdesivir was not helpful to give it to patients on ventilators as most of those die with our without it.

We know from this study I posted AGES ago that both work early in cell models:

Our findings reveal that remdesivir and chloroquine are highly effective in the control of 2019-nCoV infection in vitro. Since these compounds have been used in human patients with a safety track record and shown to be effective against various ailments, we suggest that they should be assessed in human patients suffering from the novel coronavirus disease.
To me, it seems just a matter of designing proper tests (Phase 1, 2 & 3 studies) to determine dose and timing for both as treatments.

It appears this is ongoing with some getting all bent out of shape as results trickle in.
