Late penalty was subtracted?

Just wondering.

I always pay a penalty, and my CPA always overcharges, It comes back as a return check?

Possibly the difference?

Bob

I believe that happened to me once and it was due to a math error... or something I forgot like interest on a CD.

I2:

At some point the IRS will send you a letter showing the correction they made. It is too early in the process for them to be matching 1099's so I'd guess you might have keyed in a estimated tax payment or withholding that didn't match up with what they had.

Good luck.
