More re: ammonium chloride and corona viruses (and why I take a small dose of it every day along with zinc and home-brewed quinine tea). Of these, zinc and ammonium chloride are the most expensive, at about $0.25USD per pill. I obtained cinchona bark at $1.50 per 1/2 oz.

I dare anyone here to find ammonium chloride mentioned in any public medical forum as a possible therapeutic agent.

If it’s cheap and potentially effective, fuggedabouit. We need remdisivir at $1000 a pop, not HCQ or NH4Cl.

Where have we gone wrong.....when we pay attention to the men and women in long white coats, when we assume without supporting proof that they are all credible, altruistic, etc.

It’s always about the mooolah. Always.

Ammonium chloride inhibits SARS-CoV infection of Vero E6 cellsSince chloroquine inhibited SARS-CoV infection when added before or after infection, we hypothesized that another common lysosomotropic agent, NH4Cl, might also function in a similar manner. Ammonium chloride has been widely used in studies addressing endosome-mediated virus entry. Coincidently, NH4Cl was recently shown to reduce the transduction of pseudotype viruses decorated with SARS-CoV spike protein [ 17, 18]. In an attempt to examine if NH4Cl functions similarly to chloroquine, we performed infection analyses in Vero E6 cells before (Fig. 4A) and after (Fig. 4B) they were treated with various concentrations of NH4Cl. In both cases, we observed a 93–99% inhibition with NH4Cl at = 5 mM. These data indicated that NH4Cl (= 5 mM) and chloroquine (= 10 µM) are very effective in reducing SARS-CoV infection. These results suggest that effects of chloroquine and NH4Cl in controlling SARS CoV infection and spread might be mediated by similar mechanism(s

just hear from lab rats who decided to take one of the special repatriation flights out of S Africa to return to HK, and now stuck in Pretoria airport

when I was informed of the flights, I had said to my wife, "let them work out the bugs over a few flights"

the issue seems to be only HK passport holders are allowed on the flights, which is fine, as all of us hold HKSAR PP, and/but unclear what happens to the husband holding S African PP, even as the kids are allowed to follow the mom to board.

A lot of experiments going on, and volunteer lab rats. In this instance my wife, who always seem to know the right sort, is intervening to help liaise the matter.

Lesson to the Coconut and the Jack, "stay put until clearer".

I am hopeful that <<After second wave, peace>>, because I cannot imagine a world in which I must home school the Jack, and play chess with him, and in which he must get either one of two certificates before going on a date, and and and

Also, given the global tab this round by which we can use the USA clock as proxy, as all domains doing much the same except Hong Kong where we do not borrow, cannot print, and sparing on tax, am not sure whether we are heading into a cliff, at speed for sure, but unsure from top or bottom side.

I was trying to catch the 25Trillion mark, but I got distracted, and missed it. Shall try to catch the 26T moment.

Shouldn’t be too long, for the number changed quite a bit between afternoon tea and now, just before pre-sleep read.

I did just buy some AUY, added to DRD + RGLD, and short AUY + shorted more DRD puts.

Here I mentioned you Message 32721179 as another who read the script. I first read it back in 2004 (Fed debt was 7 trillion) ...

US Share Market for the Close of May 8th

We still see that the market is treading water. We may yet see a little bounce into next week, but the following week is where there will be a risk that we see a retest of support. The polls will be skewed now to trying to blame Trump for everything. We do not really worry about the polls, nothing seems to have changed but we will be running our models on the elections coming up in more detail. The storm is gathering in a desperate attempt to overthrow Trump and this has been an intentional direct attempt to undermine the economy. That was the last shot they had to overthrow Trump and then indeed create a New Green World Order.

As we head into the months ahead, we will see the devastation inflicted upon the budgets of state and local governments. They will be raising taxes generally 20%-40% to raise revenue. This will only suppress property values and make it much more difficult for an economic boom.

Therefore, the Sling-Shot remains in full play. The issue will NOT be profits and visions of grandeur, but of panic in capital fleeing from total government mismanagement.
