I have a few Scott -

While the whole thing makes sense I don't think implementation will be anywhere near as easy as some are trying to make it sound. I also think some people are going to be in for a surprise when the Government, including the various State regulatory agencies, start receiving pressure from the RBOCs who just happen to have some very influential lobbyists always just an earshot from Congress.

Here's part of one of Ben's short "essays" on the subject:

"The phone companies will have to turn to Washington for relief. Given the number of jobs and the number of votes that they represent, they will seek help from all three branches of Government, in petitions to the FCC such as the ACTA petition, in seeking new laws prohibiting the Internet from offering telephony services, and from the courts."

Interesting scenario, and I believe that corporates need functional V+F+D remote access today rather than waiting years for all of thise to gel.

BTW: I wouldn't rule out Ben having something already aimed towards this market,
especially since a few of us have heard the company has been in discussions with ISPs.
