Mike: Re: VIAS numbers ...

They looked quite good to me.

>>'The company just completed its strongest quarter ever with respect to generating license revenues. During the quarter, license revenues totaled $16.7 million, up 99 percent from the prior year's quarter. Specifically, we saw strong performance from Viasoft's Estimate 2000(tm), Bridge 2000(tm), VIA/AutoChange(tm) and Rochade products.<<

The only negative I saw was the decrease in services. Since VIAS is primarily a software vendor, that doesn't bother me too much.

>>Included in the results were services revenues of $4.3 million, a decrease of 33 percent over the comparable period a year ago. We are striving to improve margins in our services business as consulting work on a large, fixed-price contract is completed and several new enablement services, such as FastPath 2000(sm) and ChangeWorks(tm), become fully operational.<<
