FROM MOTLEY FOOL...

DSC Communications (Nasdaq: DIGI) rose $3 1/16 to $21 1/16 after yesterday reporting Q4 EPS of $0.30 (before charges), up 100% over last year. Analysts were expecting EPS of $0.32, but given the havoc that ADC Telecommunications (Nasdaq: ADCT) has caused in the sector recently, investors were relieved that earnings were in the range of expectations.

BTW, can any of you old timers tell me...someone said a couple of years ago DSC was always one of the five most heavily traded stocks on a daily basis?

Tks
