Legal interpretations aside, I thoroughly agree with George Will's assessment: "The irremediable collapse of Clinton's presidency has not really occurred in one week. (Or because of some illegal break-in in search of political dirt on the opposition) Rather, one week's revelations have ratified six years of suspicions . . . that have crystallized into the unassailable conclusion that this is America's tawdriest presidency." And this has occurred, not because of some right wing conspiracy to bring down the president, as Hillary would have us believe, but because of the actions of the man whose administration has become a laughingstock. As Will said: "Clinton knows the truth and it is lethal." That is why he uses words designed to confuse the truth so that he can avoid the truth.
