You guys should find out who got suspended by Jill the most. I myself got it twice and I think (X208/captain kirk/spock) he has many names got axed as x208 and came back as head of the starship. Ihave to say that Iwas lucky not to get booted off for good then I would have to pay to get in. The reason that I was sent to the corner was because of the verbal bashes that I was in on the ASND thread.

An SI "email" system is very do-able and could be implemented quickly. I really like the idea and agree that it's potentially a way to offload off-topic discussion from the main threads. My primary concern is that people who are afraid to post publicly -- lurkers far outnumber those who post -- might ask a lot of questions of those who do post. As a result, SI members (especially the highly followed/respected ones) might get saturated with private email, which could distract them from providing quality content publicly. But it's worth considering!
