>> And anyone who claims to hold a Masters in Computer Science and has the guts to say that Y2K is only serious, but not critical, will either quickly change his mind this year, or be looking for a new job due to his incompetence. <<

PMFJI, but you should really get out more. I have good friends at EDS, Perot Systems, some insurance data processing centers; a ten-year background as a professional software engineer; dozens of friends still doing software for a living; and a lot of computer professional acquantances right here on SI. The vast majority of these, including myself, say exactly what you are objecting to: that Y2K is serious, not critical.

Your argument, that most of corporate America is somehow "asleep" and needs to "wake up" before it's too late, is a bit hard to take. Do you really want to be in the position of pitting your wisdom against the collective wisdom of the most successful bunch of corporations on the planet? What's more likely: most of America is clueless and needs to wake up, or that you and a bunch of companies who make money by fixing this problem might be overstating the case?

Ron..............................................................................................................................................................................Blah Blah..................... Blah........................... same old bs.... facts Ron not hype.. been here last year about the same time....listened to the same tripe as your spouting now and made a ton of $$$ off baseless bs like your spouting. I may cash more of my shorts when this dog hits 10 soon...but I'll never be a long on a company with a reasonable value of two dollars a share that sells for 10. Ron you need to believe in fundamental values not bs news articles. Eventually all things find true value and facts dictate that this pig is barely worth 2 bucks.
Oh well Ron, nice try the last couple of days, but it appears their are very few fools left willing to buy the bs surrounding the y2k issue and the really unbelievable valuation of ddim. Sure you may find a few fools that believe this 5million value company of a year ago is worth 175-200 million today. Keep up the good fight Ron.

PS. I did not bother to read your post past the first 4 lines. You might want to consider really short responses as I have a really low tolerance for bs these days.
