Masks are mostly to protect others from your spray if you sneeze or cough. That is why during the delivery of a baby, everyone is required to wear a mask.

When I see someone driving down a road wearing a mask, it makes me sad for the lack of knowledge everyone has and it is due to the lies of the press. . Those people lie when they would be better served by the truth.

I agree. Out here they are trying to make it about race or poverty. I'm trying to hit the news reporters with the facts about obesity as the race industry will use it to get all sorts of money that doesn't solve anything but make it worse. Michelle Obama TRIED to attack the issue of obesity in the AA community and mostly failed... (and I think she's eating more these days too)

I think a big part of the problem is exercise and access to low cost, high quality food AND the willingness to eat this food rather than the $6, high fat, high sugar, high carb, high calorie, low nutrition at fast food places. That takes education and more emphasis on "Play 60" and other attempts... but Kale growers and sardine fishermen don't pay as much to the NFL, NBA, etc. as the snack food and alcohol/drug industries.
