I hope you and others remember I was probably the very first here on SI that talked about HCQ... after I posted about the paper on Facebook the very same day the paper started making the rounds in the Silicon Valley. It should be obvious to all but the most idiot political hacks that SOMETHING was found to work in China to slam the door on new cases. Since they manufacture most of the drugs, they probably ramped up HCQ production as soon as they found it could help... and they gave it to anyone who didn't have the heart issues that make it risky. Why should China share that news with the US until they've protected all their own people? We were f'ing foolish enough to send all our manufacturing jobs there (forced by the high taxes and shitty way we treat job creators in the US that I've argued was a mistake since the early 1970s with my moronic, super young, super liberal high school social studies teachers.) The BIGGEST reason I even bother to defend Trump is he's one of the very few in power that agreed with my 49 year old views (that were quite rare for the day for a Democrat) on exporting jobs to China and better yet, Trump did something about it.
