Wow! I believe you. My brothers and i ended up putting my Mom in Artis senior living community in Mass. After looking at the nursing home option. Some of the social areas where actually walled of like prisons with plexi glass to look out. Smell piss up and down the hallways and most unclean. Another democratic shit hole. Was so Happy to foot the bill she had a better quality of life and the admin and staff where above and beyond. Sometimes you have to gladly pay for peace of mind.
