Something in the data is still missing... but I'm not willing to go out into society like before as it is possible that
  • Sheltering in place works well, especially when you eliminate concerts, church attendance with singing and hand shaking, sporting events with loads of yelling for your team, etc.

  • We over reacted in how long it lives and how easy it is to transmit via surfaces with brief contact....
  • you'd think all the checkers in stores would have it by now if just a few shoppers could transfer enough virus from their hands to packages then to the checker's hands to their systems... after a few months, they'd all have to have wiped their eyes, etc.... with hands that touched packages touched by carriers
  • In Fact, that SMALL amount of viral payload transmitted to cashiers might be just what is needed to build immunity.
  • We do know that having comorbidity conditions greatly increases your risk as well as being old with old, weak immune systems.

  • We also know that you can pass it through the air inside enclosed, recirculating air systems, but even then, it doesn't get everyone.

Too many questions but I'm glad we're slowly opening up.

Then this OpEd...

Article from: The Mercury News - May 27, 2020

Relaxing COVID-19 sheltering too fast will kill people

Letting people buy alcohol will also kill people... both those who don't consume via DUI and those who do by increased cancer and other risks... but we don't ban alcohol either.
