Martin is hit or miss with his market predictions, but his history lessons are usually spot on. I used to read his prison letters. They were filled with interesting history tidbits.

And by the way. I am not a huge Martin Armstrong fan, but do not forget that he was thrown in prison for contempt of court. He was kept there for over seven years if my memory serves me correct and he was told he would never be let out if he did not plead guilty.

I would like to think I would stand by my convictions and only plead guilty to something I had really done, but since the judge obviously was not following the law by keeping him in prison for much longer than one is supposed to be held for contempt, then his only way out was to do what he did. Which was plead guilty.

Was he really guilty? I have no idea.
