For those of us of our generation who actually served in Vietnam, I assume when you refer to those who avoided the war who benefited politically you mean, Gingrich, Quayle, Clinton, Phil Gramm, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Rush Limbaugh, et al? I couldn't agree more, although the point has nothing whatsoever to do with the issue as to whether or not the War in Vietnam made any sense for any of us.
