<opinions are extremely useful when they are backed with facts and
sources and are free of bias.>
You are free to consider my opinions as less useful.
And where have you seen an unbiased opinion? especially
on this thread...

To undermine my credability more, I'll tell you more
on this topic.

The reason that this MPEG hardware is more expensive than
$100 is that NOBODY NEED IT. I mean mass market.

The reason they do not need it is because NOBODY
CAN USE IT TODAY with current bandwidth of local
copper telephone connection. (I hope we understand
that we are talking about normal-blown video, as you
were so excited about in some of your recent posts).

Conclusion: P-II/333 software MPEG encoding is a
"hypeware". Besides, you still need fast NTCS video
decoder, digitaizer, and bus-master DMA (PCI) CARD
to have the video input. It costs money too.

Instead of whinning about my lack of data back (sorry
for pun), you better put me on test and tell everybody
why you think I am wrong.

Have a good decision to reach.
