If I decide to buy this camera, I'm gonna need a better tripod. It's like aiming a telescope.
how did you get to use it without buying it? with that powerful of an optical zoom lens (X=83)
and the weight of the camera and lens, i'd think you'd need a really good tripod, if you shoot
any video, but i'd think you could do some good still shots with a cheap tripod.
- Also here's a goose. Ho Hum, until you realize the goose is about 250 yards away in the lake...a hand held shot.
chalk that up to "image stabilization"... it's how i got the moon shot that i took... but if you were
shooting video of the duck you'd have to have a good tripod and a lotta practice just to keep your
subject in the frame..
