Doug,
Lot of talk about AMVC's performace (or lack thereof) lately. I spoke with CFO Alan Steel yesterday and he said earnings were due out today. There wil be a conference call as well. 415-908-6220. Let's ask our questions there and post answers to all.
They are aware of the stock price of course but have every confidence in the company and its product. New test results of on of their wood scanning machines have yielded very favorable results. The sales force is optimistic as well. And no one is doing anything other than going about their business.
They are also participating in another Red Chip Conference the second week in Feb.
This company has a great future and I'm comfortable with the natural ups and down of a stock price.

The inexperienced...i assume refers to myself and mr butcher....let me assure you, neither of us are inexperienced and i have never made an attack against you...I HAVE ONLY POSTED AN OPPOSING VIEW or a question of the ta....this should be welcomed and not met w hostility. RE the other picks....why dont you post date picked price and when to enter/exit.....this way the trades will be documented here...as i dont see your last post as being completely accurate of your positions...i remember CADE being pumped at 2 1/4 NOT 1 7/8...for example.....there are others but it is a waste of time to go into, as arguments are not what i am after.....maybe you should be more truthful in your posts and not alter the pick prices after they have moved. Also spend more time on stocks than worrying about how many people have you bookmarked. This is not a competition, but a place to exchange ideas and help each other profit. I think your numbers are a little misleading as you have altered your positions after your original positions.....ludicrous!,....no one is perfect and no one is asking or expecting you to be....justr honest...and mr smiths assertions re AMVC and averaging down are also documented...thank god i didnt "average down" only to hold more of a loser.all "investors" beware....i would wager to say that the "inexperienced" are your "followers" who haven't the foggiest clue as to the tech indicators you use or how they work.

Doug,

I cannot let you forget IFCI 1.50 to 8+...BTW IFCIW from 9/16 to over 2.
Personally I did not do AMVC or RLLY. Here's the key to the distractors of the picks by our group...and how many times has this been posted? "These are not recommendations, merely a starting point to do your own DD"!! If one trys to ride the "pop" off of the release of a POW or SWAT and lose money...blame yourself, not the pick.

re SEEQ...a blast from the past!

this was one of my best successes utilizing T/A back in '95, when I caught it at 2 1/5 and got out at $5. Before SEEQ, my use of TA to trade stocks had very mixed results.

I'll always look back with fond memories on SEEQ.

doug...please read...thank you... i was only attempting to engage in discussion about the ta used on small caps that are thinly traded . period. no personal attacks by me ...i do not dislike you, doug or anyone else here. i was attempting to raise some issues that mr smith brought forth which do have validity as evidenced by the reults he posted to mr butcher and the averaging down on amvc,....which now would have one either holding, or having sold twice the shares at an even lower price. these are all facts. doug himself told me he averaged down...it is on the thread somewhere...that means he entered at 2 1/4 and then added somewhere at 2. he now says he is out of it (which by the way, breaks the original rules of the portfolio of holding for 3 mos)...so if he is out then he sold twice the amount at a loss. right? and he broke the money management rules of the portfolio, right? now that earnings have come out and it MAY for the first time since the pick move in a positive direction ...he is saying...he wouldn't want it to do what he said it would(sarcastically he posted this)....now why if he was confident enough to add to his position would he then sell at a loss. and if he or you like the prospects of it now, why dont you buy it....its certainly cheaper now than it was when originally picked.
end of correspondence unless you care to answer these TRUTHFUL points
